I want to start this post by thanking all of you who have stuck with us here at DBR! We realize that Season 4 has/was very challenging to say the least. Uncle Jessie who has had internet issues for some time now, trusted in me (a rookie to all this admin. stuff) to try and keep this thing going. I would like to think that for 8 weeks we did a pretty good job at keeping this ship afloat. However some family issues popped up that kept me away. When I returned I was well behind the 8 ball (so to speak) and was completely overwelmed at trying to recover 4 seperate series worth of race points.(DBR,NASCAR,MUSCLE DRAG,SUN.NIGHT DRAG). In an attempt to simplify things a core group of our racers had a meeting and decided that Season 4 points will be locked, calculated and winners announced very soon. For Season 5 we will race again every Weds. DBR and Sun. Nascar ,along with the Drag series preceding each race. (Thanks Elky).These races will begin PROMPTLY AT THE SCHEDULED TIME. We are however gonna change up the points in an attempt to simplify and free up admins. time. For Season 5 we are only going to keep track of 1st ,2nd ,3rd place for "points" purposes. What we mean by that is: those places will be the only"points" we are gonna score. At the end of the season whoever has the most wins will be the Champion...2nd...3rd.... and so on (think of it as a "podium season"). We realize that some of you prefer "points" style racing but most here, race for fun not points. Upon Uncle Jessie's return we will most certainly go back to the original points system. Hopefully ya'all will bare with us during this time period. Thanks and hope to see ya on the track!
